How to get your visa?

E-Visa Procedure Online:

Since 2013, Senegal has introduced the requirement to obtain a biometric visa for travelers of nationalities who are not exempt (see list above). The visa procedure happens in two stages. As a first step, payment of the visa and delivery fee must be made on the dedicated website. A certain amount of information must be communicated online at this time.

Once this formality has been completed, a visit to a diplomatic representation equipped for issuing biometric visas is necessary. You will undergo a strict control of all the documents and supporting documents produced, as well as the taking of a digital photograph and the taking of fingerprints.

Depending on the consulates and busy periods, the formalities can be long. So you need to get your visa for a full day. As a result, travelers are advised to look in detail at what documents and documents are required for visa issuance, especially if you live several hundred kilometers away from a Senegalese diplomatic representation. By way of derogation, any passenger subject to an entry visa in Senegal, who for various reasons is not able to pre-enroll in a Senegalese embassy or consulate or online can embark with his pre-visa, and obtain a BIOMETRIC VISA at airports (Blaise Diagne, Cap Skirring) where he will undergo the procedure normally provided for in embassy (taking fingerprints, communication of documents and supporting documents, photos, etc.).

Classic procedure in embassy:

If you are not eligible for the e-visa or if the type of visa you wish to obtain is not obtainable by the e-visa procedure you can go to the Senegalese diplomatic representation nearest to you accompanied by ) necessary documents.

A team of State Protocol agents and members of the organizing committee will be in charge of assisting participants and delegates upon their arrival in Dakar.
